Maryland Senior Prescription Drug Assistance Program (SPDAP)

This program pays up to $100 every month towards your Part D premium and allows you to change your Rx Coverage one time per year outside of Open Enrollment.

Eligibility is based on gross monthly income. There is no asset limit.

Social Security Extra Help

This program assists individuals enrolled in Medicare Part D prescription drug plans with their Part D premium, deductible and co-insurance.

Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB) and Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB)

QMB pays the Part A and Part B premiums, deductibles and the Part B co-insurance ("the 20%"). SLMB pays the Part B premium only.
