The Collections Office is responsible for the collection of Real Property Taxes, Personal Property Taxes, and Water & Sewer Bills. In addition, they collect fees for Permits.

Carroll County conducts an online Tax Sale in June of each year with RealAuction.com 

The County accepts credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) at our offices or online at Online Payments, or via the telephone Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. For Water & Sewer bill, Real Estate and Personal Property tax payments over the phone, call 410-386-2971, Option 3. The vendor charges a fee for this service. Vendor fees are as follows: Real Estate, Personal Property tax, and Water & Sewer payments, use of debit/credit card, a 3.25% convenience fee, or ACH e-check, is $1.50 convenience fee for online, or in-person, and is $2.00 convenience fee for telephone IVR payments. Payment for Real Estate and Water & Sewer is also accepted at all branches of the Carroll County Public Library with a check. For additional information, call the Collections Office at 410-386-2971.
