On or about Tuesday, December 15, 2020, Manheim Township will close Gier Road near the state line of Pennsylvania and Maryland for a tree removal project. The project is scheduled to be completed Wednesday, December 16, weather permitting.
Motorists should use other available routes as there are no roads for detour off of Gier Road in Manheim Township or off of Black Rock Road in Carroll County. Black Rock Road Road in Carroll County Maryland will be open for local residents traveling in Maryland.
