Gina Miller

A long time Carroll County resident, Gina was introduced to horses while growing up on a farm in Mt. Airy. Some years ago, she became more serious about horses and became a sincere student of natural horsemanship. She now has her own farm and horses.

Gina willingly describes her joy in the connection she has with her horses by saying, “They make me happy to be around them.” She has always enjoyed trail riding and the communication with the horse so they both have an enjoyable experience.

The trails at Morgan Run NEA are of particular interest to her; she is a regular participant by using her mower to help to mow the trails on CCEC organized trail work days. She appreciates the “Thanks” received from others as they enjoy the mowed trails.

“I would encourage more people to help with keeping the trails open; it’s a special place to be able to get great exercise, work with other equestrians and enjoy the camaraderie”, says Gina.

The Carroll County Equestrian Council recognizes Gina Miller as their Volunteer of the Year for 2024.
