Joey Edwards

The Division of Recreation is pleased to announce Joey Edwards as our 2025 Volunteer of the Year. Joey has been volunteering with the Department for several years—often being “voluntold” by Myiah—and always does so with a smile on his face. Over the past year, Joey has measured fish at our Youth Fishing Rodeos, played Santa during the holiday season, supervised bus trips, and served as both set-up and clean-up crew for numerous special events and everything in between. He genuinely enjoys giving his time to the community, and we are truly lucky to have him as part of our team. We look forward to having his help with our events in the years ahead!
