Brandi Deeb

Ms. Brandi Deeb joined the Mount Airy Youth Athletic Association in 2016 along with her husband Aaron Deeb and their two children who have all been actively involved in the Mount Airy Youth Athletic Association’s Football and Cheer Programs. In 2017, Brandi as one of two MAYAA Cheer Commissioners, took over a cheerleading program with approximately fifty (50) participants, across all age groups, in a program that was on the brink of collapse. Since that time, she has helped grow the program from that place to one that now sells out registration within days of its opening and has one hundred and seventy (170) girls and thirty (30) coaches in the program. She has also been instrumental in creating an end of the season competitive cheer competition which includes other programs from Carroll County and the surrounding Counties that occurs at South Carroll High School. In addition to serving as one of the MAYAA Cheerleading Commissioners, Brandi also served as the Treasurer of the MAYAA Football Program from 2019 to March of 2025, where she helped guide that program back from significant financial losses into a very robust and financially healthy program. She has worked tirelessly, and sometimes without thanks or appreciation, for hundreds of boys and girls in our community for the last nine (9) years and has been a shining example of hard work and determination for the youth in our community. For these reasons, among many others, that is why Ms. Brandi Deeb is MAYAA’s Volunteer of the Year.
