Westminster, MD, Friday,  July 19, 2024 – An international software outage has disabled networks all over the world including Carroll County Government.

Due to the software outage, Carroll County operations will be limited. The county landfill is open and only accepts cash for payment. It is unclear, at this time, what other systems have been affected. Please be aware that if residents are trying to access the tax payment, permitting and other sites online, they may not be functional.

Carroll County Government will continue to update the public as it learns more about how operations have been affected. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
