Westminster, MD, Tuesday, March 25, 2025 – Carroll County Bureau of Aging & Disabilities’ Family Caregiver Support Program will host the 2025 conference, “Footsteps for Future Generations”, on Saturday, March 29, 2025. The Family Caregiver Support Program is designed to assist caregivers who are caring for family members over the age of 60 and older relatives raising grandchildren under the age of 18.

The event will be held from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Westminster Senior and Community Center located at 125 Stoner Avenue, Westminster. The topics to be covered are: “examining social media, trends to red flags,” “legal discussions regarding child’s rights, adoption, guardianship and custody,” and “coping with emotions of anger, guilt, and grief.”

The conference is open to grandparents, parents, and anyone else interested in the presentation topics on the agenda. There is no cost to attend the conference, but you must register by Friday.
