Westminster, MD, Thursday, February 13, 2025 – Today, in Open Session, the Board of County Commissioners proclaimed February 15th through 22nd as National Entrepreneurship Week. #NatlEshipWeek is a grassroots movement celebrating America's thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Carroll County Department of Economic Development staff, together with representatives from the Small Business Development Center, Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, Carroll Technology and Innovation Council (CTIC), and Mid-Atlantic Gigabit Innovation Collaboratory (MAGIC) were on hand as part of the proclamation. Economic Development created a webpage dedicated to the 2025 National Entrepreneurship Week.

The county is excited to join organizations nationwide to celebrate entrepreneurs and recognize the importance of entrepreneurship to our communities, state and country.  Entrepreneurs and small businesses are the backbone of local economies and are important for creating jobs and driving innovation, opportunity and growth.
