The Carroll County Master Plan is more than just a document—it’s a vision for how we grow, thrive, and preserve what makes our County special. That’s why we’re inviting residents like you to our Master Plan Open House.

At this exciting event, you’ll:

  • Explore interactive displays on topics like housing, transportation and infrastructure, economic development, and maintaining our rural character.
  • Share your ideas and priorities for the County’s future.
  • Chat with planners and neighbors who care about Carroll County as much as you do.
  • Help shape the roadmap that will guide our decisions for years to come.

Whether you’re passionate about preservation, local businesses, or just want to be a part of planning for your community, this open house is for YOU. Drop in anytime and make your voice heard!

Open Houses will take place from 1:00 – 7:00 pm on the following dates and locations:

  • Thursday, February 6, 2025 - Carroll Community College, Room K100, 1601 Washington Rd, Westminster
  • Wednesday, February 12, 2025 – Mt. Airy Branch Library, 705 Ridge Ave, Mt. Airy
  • Wednesday, February 19, 2025 – Taneytown Branch Library, 10 Grand Drive, Taneytown
  • Thursday, February 27, 2025 – North Carroll Branch Library, 2255 Hanover Pike, Hampstead
  • Thursday, March 6, 2025 – Eldersburg Branch Library, 6400 W Hemlock Drive, Eldersburg

In the event of inclement weather: Open Houses will follow the inclement weather policy of the host location. If the area is closed due to inclement weather, the Open House will not be held. If the location opens late but before the Open House is scheduled to begin, the Open House will be held as planned. A single snow date for any/all Open Houses that are canceled due to inclement weather will be announced if needed.
