The Liberty Reservoir watershed is located in the eastern portion of Carroll County. The watershed is within the Patapsco River Basin in the Piedmont physiographic province of Maryland and consists of seventeen (17) major subwatersheds. The Liberty Reservoir watershed drains into the Liberty Reservoir, which is a major drinking water intake for the City of Baltimore.
