Westminster, MD, Tuesday, March 12, 2024– Carroll County Bureau of Aging & Disabilities’ Family Caregiver Support Program invites all those interested to attend the free 2024 Grandparents and Other Relatives Raising Grandchildren Conference entitled “A Shared Commitment to Raising Healthy Children.”

The event will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 9:00am – 2:00pm at the Westminster Senior and Community Center located at 125 Stoner Avenue in Westminster. The topics to be covered include: how to keep children safe when navigating social media and commonly used apps, managing custody and court system challenges, staying connected with your child/teenager, and learning about science and holistic wellness.

The conference is open to grandparents and others interested in the presentation topics on the agenda. There is no cost to attend the conference, but registration is required. The Family Caregiver Support Program is designed to assist caregivers who are caring for family members over the age of 60 and grandparents or other adults raising grandchildren under the age of 18.
