Westminster, MD, Thursday, November 7, 2024 – Carroll County Department of Economic Development (CCDED) is pleased to announce a new event Carroll County and the Region’s Dynamic Economic Future on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 12:00 noon – 1:30 pm at the Portico at St. John in Westminster. The event, a partnership between CCDED and the Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC), will highlight local and regional economic development updates and initiatives.
The presentation, hosted by the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, will feature Denise Beaver, Director of Carroll County Economic Development and Jennifer Vey, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for the Greater Baltimore Committee discussing county and Greater Baltimore Region plans. The Greater Baltimore Committee will describe All In 2035, its recently completed ten-year regional economic opportunity plan. The plan builds on current momentum to advance a thriving Baltimore Region.
Open registration is live on the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce website. The $30 cost includes lunch, the presentation, and a question-and-answer period.
“This is an exciting opportunity to partner with GBC and share our local and regional economic development strategies and projects with Carroll County,” said Denise Beaver. “I encourage business and community leaders to review the All In 2035 plan and executive summary on the GBC website and then attend the event to collaborate with other county stakeholders about the future of the economy.”
