Westminster, MD, Tuesday, October 31, 2023  – Carroll County Bureau of Aging & Disabilities’ Family Caregiver Support Program will host a free conference, “Mindfulness for Caregivers,” on Saturday, November 4, 2023. The event will be held from 9:00am – 2:00pm at the Westminster Senior and Community Center located at 125 Stoner Avenue in Westminster.

The conference will present the following topics: “Learning the Power of Healing through Improv,” “Providing Quality End of Life Care,” and “Self-Care and Mindfulness.”

The conference is open to caregivers and others interested in the topics on the agenda. There is no cost to attend the conference; however, registration is required by Friday, November 3rd.  A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. The Family Caregiver Support Program is designed to assist caregivers who are caring for family members over the age of 60 and older relatives raising grandchildren under the age of 18.
