Westminster, MD, Tuesday, September 12, 2023– Carroll County Department of Recreation & Parks has a vacancy on its Advisory Board and is currently accepting applications for a new member.

The Board meets seven (7) times per year on the 4^th Wednesday of each month with most meetings held at 7 pm in the County Office Building in Westminster.  Board terms are for 4 years and members have an opportunity to serve a second term if reappointed.

The Advisory Board serves as a sounding board for Recreation & Parks staff, assists with the development of policies, reviews and prioritizes self-help and capital projects, and plays an active role in promoting recreation and parks efforts in Carroll County.
